As fleet management has become considerably more complex, and fleet managers take on increasing responsibilities, we asked a few fleet veterans tell us about their early fleet days and what they miss most. It’s clear from their responses that while the “good old days” may induce nostalgia, most fleet managers are happy with the evolution and increased professionalism of fleet.

Cast your ballot for the 2013 Inductees to the Fleet Hall of Fame! Voting for the 2013 Fleet Hall of Fame nominees ends Wednesday, July 31. Twenty-eight individuals have been nominated by the industry, but only five will be inducted this year.  Sponsored by AFLA and presented by Automotive Fleet magazine, Hall of Fame members are recognized industry leaders and pioneers who have contributed significantly to the commercial fleet management profession. Eligible nominees must have at least 10 years of fleet management experience.
