Drive Safely Work Week 2013 toolkits now available at no cost.

Monday, October 7, 2013 launches The Network of Employers for Traffic Safety’s (NETS) national Drive Safely Work Week (DSWW) campaign.

This year’s DSWW campaign theme is “Gear Up for Safe Driving – Mind, Body, Vehicle.”

To show its continuing commitment to this all-important campaign, NETS has developed a no cost employer toolkit.

This easy to use web based tool kit gives resources that show how maintaining one’s connectedness to mind, body and vehicle are a cohesive and all-important component to being a safe driver. In addition, so drivers can be their best behind the wheel, the kit gives clear action steps that are easy to follow and simple to understand.

Experts from NET’s member companies formulated this entire campaign. Collectively, it represents a fleet of more than five hundred thousand vehicles, which travel over ten billion miles globally each year.

As proof of this campaign’s effectiveness, over the past three years some thirty-five hundred organizations, representing over sixteen million employees, have successfully participated.

For the past several years NAFA has published articles in support of NETS “Drive Safely Work Week” in Fleet Solutions magazine and their NAFA Connection newsletter.

NAFA’s Safety Advisory Council is devoted to promoting safety on the roads. Learn more on the NAFA Safety Advisory Council webpage.

NETS advocates employers to take part in the “Drive Safely Work Week” initiative to be a shining example of what can be done to make America’s roads a safer place to drive.
