New functionality will provide customers with enhanced reporting capabilities. Soon users of Fleet Manager will be able to create and save their own custom reports.
Temecula, CA – September 17th, 2015 – GPS Trackit is adding a new feature to its Fleet Manager vehicle tracking and workforce management system. Their already comprehensive list of event, location, field service, maintenance, driving behavior and diagnostic reports will soon be augmented with the ability of users to create their own reports.
The tool, currently available to GPS Trackit’s technical support team, provides an easy-to-use interface that will enable customers to selectively add and remove specific types of data from reports. They will be able to create and save reports that contain the exact data they need to manage their businesses.
“This is something customers have been requesting,” said Eddie Bermudez, GPS Trackit’s Product Development Manager. “Currently they can call into technical support and have a custom report built for them. Soon they’ll be able to create, edit and save reports containing the data they want and need. And they’ll be able to run the reports whenever they want.
The new custom reports will make the following data types available:
- Time & Date
- Unit Group
- Distance Difference
- Time Difference
- Engine Hours
“Distance difference and time difference are calculations we perform on the data,” Bermudez explained. “This provides the basic tracking through space and time that is one of the foundations of Fleet Manager.”
