The Asset Protection Unit (APU) is for companies or individuals that do not have a requirement for constant monitoring of their vehicle(s) or asset(s), but have a need to locate their vehicles on demand, once or twice a day, or for automobile and theft recovery. The APU can be pre-programmed for location updates at certain times of the day/night, as well as when the vehicle leaves a defined area. The APU allows you to remotely disable the vehicle or unlock doors. This unit is inexpensive and ideal for many vehicle tracking applications.
The APU is an economical vehicle tracking device that provides the user with the exact location of the vehicle.
The user acquires information on the vehicle location via the Internet from any browser equipped PC. The APU is designed to operate reliably even if the vehicle is parked for long periods of time. Using the vehicle's battery and a special power saving technology, the APU can protect the vehicle for up to forty five days with the ignition off.
